Which are you?...
This is my second "Damask" post. I may even have one more. I made these cards to give away.
My cards: A set of four butterfly cards.
My supplies: Cardstock: The Paper Company- chocolate, pinkish/orange; Patterned paper: flocked brocade stripe mocha by Making Memories; Sentiments: gold and silver embossed/ all from Paper Wishes; Accents: square rhinestones by Best Occasions/Walmart, mini rhinstones by Forever in Time, medium blue rhinestones by Want 2 Scrap; Tool: corner rounder by Creative Memories; Sticker: K & Company (butterfly); Ribbon/Fiber: orange (unknown)
Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your comments. Hope you visit again soon!
Hugs!!
Rae, these are really nice cards. I like the chocolate color of the damask. I like the double matting and I think the blue butterflies adds a pop of unexpected but pleasant color to the cards. The one with the blue, orange and yellow butterflies almost to me simulates the change and or progression of the butterfly in it's life cycle. I like that you matched the rhinestones. Great work once again.

Hi Rachel,
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the blue morpho, Yo!
Seriously, these are beautiful and, I learned something new. Damask from Damascus, Syria. Cool! I've always been interior design-challenged when it came to fabrics.
You always were adept at putting different things together on cards.
Cheers,
Mitch
