is hosting a card contest for
magazine!
So... the contest is to create your best wedding card. I never like to make just one of a card, so I ended up creating 8 cards for this challenge. This post I tried to do what I called the "Four seasons" of Wedding cards... (there is also a second post with the other four cards).
The "Winter" wedding card...
I selected a forest green card mat and inked the edge with silver Ranger acrylic paint. The sequined trim came from a local fabric store that sells trim "scraps" bagged by the color.
I used a brass template to ice the silver cake, and added rhinestones to it. The rest of the supplies are listed below.
Supplies: Cardstock: DCWV square pre-cut embossed cards, Bazzill; Patterned paper: DCWV Luxury Stack (green); The Paper Company (vellum), Sentiment: from vellum quote stacks Love and Friendship (DCWV); Ribbon/Fibers: sequined trim from local fabric store;
(Other) color medium: Metallic Silver embossing paste (Dreamweaver stencils); Templates: brass stencil wedding cake (The Stencil Collection); Accents: Rhinestones from Oriental Trading

The "Spring" wedding card...
I matted the pattern paper with a soft pink. I found a soft and pretty sheer creme ribbon. I used a brass stencil and used the Pearlescent embossing paste (with 2 different stencils). Supplies listed below the card.
Supplies: Cardstock: DCWV square pre-cut embossed cards, Bazzill; Patterned paper: K & Company; Ribbon/Fibers: sheer ribbon from AC Moore;
(Other) color medium: Pearlescent embossing paste (Dreamweaver stencils), JoAnn's markers; Templates: brass stencil wedding cake (Unknown), and sentiment (Lasting Impressions); Accents: Rhinestones from Oriental Trading, glitter by PK Glitz

The "Summer" wedding card...
I matted the DCWV luxury stack paper with a soft marbled blue. I used the Pearlescent embossing paste. I love this trim! It came from the local fabric store, and I added the pearls to it.
Supplies: Cardstock: DCWV square pre-cut embossed cards, Bazzill; Patterned paper: DCWV Luxury Stack (blue); Rubber Stamp: SU from Elegant Greetings set; Ribbon/Fibers: ruffled trim and pearl trim from local fabric store; (Other) color medium: Pearlescent embossing paste (Dreamweaver stencils); Templates: brass stencil heart (Inkadinkado)

The "Fall" Wedding Card...

Supplies: Cardstock: DCWV square pre-cut embossed cards, Bazzill; Patterned paper: DCWV Luxury Stack (brown); The Paper Company (vellum), Sentiment: from vellum quote stacks Love and Friendship (DCWV); Ribbon/Fibers: satin ribbon but AC Moore; (Other) color medium: Metallic Gold embossing paste (Dreamweaver stencils); Templates: brass stencil couple at the altar (Inkadinkado); Accents: glitter by PK Glitz, metallic gold rose bud from JoAnn's Crafts
