Embellish challenge

Good morning! We didn't get too much snow this past weekend, although it did snow continually. Lucky for us it was just too warm to stick! (a few inches...) (The quote for today is from "Daily Strategies" by US Games Systems, Inc)

My Quote for today is:

Doing little things well is a step towards doing big things better. Harry F. Banks

This is my card for the current Embellish Challenge.
You are supposed to use these colors, and a border. Even though the colors made me think of Easter, and I have Mother's day cards to make, I still ended up making a birthday card. (Although I guess I could make it a card for Mother's day!) After my last post, I'm keeping this one short!

Supplies:Cardstock: Best Occasions Pre-cut card, The Paper Company (yellow, white); Patterned Paper: PSX (Cupid print); Specialty Paper: The Paper Company (Starburst Translucent), Watercolor by Canson, Green vellum (unknown); Sentiment/Rubber Stamp(s): (All) Inkadinkado (Birthday Wishes); Accents: butterfly from Oriental Trading; Ribbon: Sheer Pink from AC Moore; Ink: Staz on (Brown); (Other) Color medium: Perfect Pearls (Forever Green), Watercolor pencils by Kimberly; PK Glitz (white pearls), Stardust clear by Jellyroll

Thanks for your visit today. As always, I appreciate all comments!
Rae

Hi Rae, thanks for the fab comments..I will make sure I post everything I bought on my blog and I will try to get some pics of the show, ofcourse they may not want pictures taken but I will ask them fingers crossed..As for your cards they are awesome and so beautifully detailed and you are so talented in your craft..You are sure to win something!! As for the hearts I made them out of jac paper (double sided paper)and stuck it on cardstock, cut it out and then just added dry embossing powder..Hope this helps if not I will do a tutorial soon..So stay tuned..Off to the craft show in an hour so I have to get ready...Lynn:)

  6. Wow, that watercoloring is fantastic, this card is so soft and pretty! I have a hard time staying in the lines when I use my watercolor pencils.
